Caterpillar Kids OT is a private paediatric practice on the Mid North Coast of NSW providing flexible, family focused assessment and therapy. We work with babies and children up to the age of 16 years. We also provide a range of therapy products that can be purchased at our clinic, or online.
Families can access our services via self referral or referral from a GP or Paediatrician.
We are a Bulk Billing Medicare practice
We provide FaHSCIA funded services under both 'Helping Children with Autism' and "Better Start for Children with a Disability" programs
Our therapists work as part of each family's multidisciplinary treatment team, and with your child's school/preschool, towards family centred goals.
We use an eclectic approach to therapy including:
Sensory integration therapy
DIR Floortime based therapy
Alert Program for Self Regulation
Learn to Play programs
Social skills training
Use of Social Stories and other visual supports
Individual handwriting instruction and remediation
Cognitive behavioural therapy for teens, targeting anxiety, social skills and anger management
Parent coaching and consultation/education
